This is an agreement between you, the Passport Holder, and NC500 Golf Limited, a company registered in Scotland with Company Number 570275 whose registered office is at 272 Bath Street, Glasgow ("NC500 Golf"). By purchasing a Golf Passport, you are accepting the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Golf Passport or the NC500 Golf Website, currently hosted at www.northcoast500golf.com ("the Website"). These terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time.
- The Golf passport is valid for a period of 12 months from purchase, unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
- The Golf Passport allows the Passport Holder to benefit from reduced green fees and other incentives at participating golf clubs on the North Coast 500 Route in the North Highlands of Scotland ("Participating Clubs").
- A Golf Passport will be issued via email to Passport Holders as soon as possible following purchase. The Passport Holder will be able to make bookings and benefit from the discounts afforded by the Golf Passport immediately using the unique passport number which will be provided upon receipt of payment for the Golf Passport.
- The Golf Passport is non-transferable and the offers and incentives are only available to the Passport Holder. Other members of the Passport Holder's group do not qualify for the benefits offered to the Passport Holder. They can of course purchase their own Golf Passport via the Website.
- Green fee rates for accompanying juniors are as shown on the Participating Clubs' websites.
- The Golf Passport must be presented to and authorised by the Professional, Secretary or an Official at Participating Clubs prior to playing golf at the Participating Club. If a Participating Club operates an honesty box, a printed copy (or tear-off strip) of the Golf Passport must accompany the Passport Holder's green fee.
- The Golf Passport cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.
- NC500 Golf does not offer a booking service.
- Tee times must be booked direct with the Participating Club.
- Each Participating Club operates their own policy regarding bookings and the number of days in advance you need to book to play at the Participating Club. Details will be found on the Participating Club's own website and may be subject to change.
- The Participating Club's own terms and conditions will apply to all bookings with Passport Holders. When a Passport Holder makes a booking, this is a contract between the Passport Holder and the participating Club.
- Green fees are payable to the Participating Club, not to NC500 Golf. It is the Passport Holder's responsibility to ensure that green fees and other charges are paid by the Passport Holder to the Participating Club.
- NC500 Golf does not receive a commission on green fees or any other sums paid by the Passport Holder to the Participating Club.
- Each Participating Club will ensure that a Passport Holder has a valid Golf Passport. Golf Passports can be validated via the Club area of the Website or by scanning the QR Code of each individual Passport Holder.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette and the rules of golf are expected of all Passport Holders and members of their group.
- Some Participating Clubs may require handicap certificates before accepting visitors. We suggest that Passport Holders clarify this at the time of booking.
- Golf shoes should be worn at all Participating Clubs. Each participating Club has its own dress policy. Passport Holders must abide by each Participating Club's dress code (where applicable).
- Bad weather is unfortunately unavoidable. The Participating Clubs reserve the right to close or operate temporary tees and/or greens. Golf played on temporary greens and tees is non-refundable and is considered to be an acceptable part of playing golf during periods of bad weather.
- Caddies can be requested at certain courses but are subject to availability.
- The Passport Holder acknowledges that the offering of Participating Clubs may vary from time to time and that particular offers may be withdrawn or varied. The Passport Holder also acknowledges that individual Participating Clubs may withdraw from the scheme from time to time. NC500 Golf does not guarantee the continued availability of any offers or discounts at Participating Clubs which may be available or advertised on the Website when the Golf Passport is purchased nor does it guarantee that Participating Clubs will not withdraw from the Passport scheme during the currency of the Passport Holder's Passport.
- Sometimes NC500 Golf will send offers to Passport Holders on behalf of its partners. If a Passport Holder does not want to receive such offers, they should tick the relevant opt out box in the Passport Application Form, or let NC500 Golf know in writing. Further information is contained in NC500 Golf's Privacy Policy, available on the Website.
- If the passport Holder does not abide by these terms and conditions, the Golf Passport will be cancelled immediately and no refund will be given.
