Inverness Golf Club has a splendid parkland course with tree lined fairways and generous well manicured greens. Established in 1883 and designed by George Smith and J J Fraser, with alterations made by the renowned course designer and 5 times open champion James Braid, the course provides an enjoyable and challenging test for any golfer. After your round you can enjoy a refreshing drink and appetising meal in our comfortable elevated lounge bar which boasts magnificent views over the course and surrounding area. Inverness Golf Club is located in the capital of the Highlands of Scotland in a region with many other outstanding golf courses such as Castle Stuart Golf Links, Nairn Golf Club and Royal Dornoch Golf Club. The Club is also part of the James Braid Highland Golf Trail which has seven member clubs located in the North of Scotland. We have regular competitions for both members and visitors culminating in our Four Day Open Week which was a special golfing week in the calendar this year as it was the 40th Anniversary. A handicap certificate is normally required and it is advisable to Pre-book your tee time in advance.

Location

Situated one mile from the city centre and only six miles from the Airport and Castle Stuart Golf Links, Inverness Golf Club provides an excellent test of golf for all levels of player and a great alternative to the traditional links courses.

Visiting golfers are most welcome to play the 6,102 yards par 69 course. Tee times can be reserved between 10am and 12 noon and between 2pm and 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
There are some tee time restrictions on Thursdays and Saturdays. On a Sunday the tee can be reserved from 10:30am onwards. When practicable tee reservations may be made out with the times indicated.
Handicap certificates are required.
